PLAY THERAPY
Catered to ages: X-X
Play therapy is specifically designed for young children and recognizes that play is a natural medium for children to communicate, explore, process emotions, and make sense of their world.
Our play therapy sessions take place in a playroom equipped with a variety of toys, art supplies, and other creative materials. Our therapist will engage the child in play-based activities such as imaginative play, storytelling, role-playing, art-making, puppetry, sandplay, and games. These activities allow the child to express their feelings, fears, desires, and experiences in a non-threatening and supportive environment.
The goals of play therapy often include improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, building social skills, enhancing creativity and imagination, resolving conflicts, processing traumatic experiences, and promoting overall psychological well-being.
